About mirri

With a background in Fine Art and many years’ experience working in the jewellery industry, Mirri has established her own brand of unique and understated designs to create a ‘low-key luxury’ look which is well known amongst discerning collectors.

Following her degree in sculpture, Mirri’s work was selected for the New Contemporaries Award and has been exhibited at ICA London, Cornerhouse, Manchester and various other galleries around the country.

However, a change in direction and scale led Mirri to study diamond mounting and jewellery at Sir John Cass in London. After this Mirri worked in the trade, employed for six years by an internationally acclaimed jewellery designer, initially as a bench worker and then as a designer.

Mirri started her own business in 2005 and her award-winning work can now be seen in shops and galleries nationally and internationally. She is regularly selected to exhibit at the prestigious Goldsmiths Fair and high-profile commissions include the Chancellors crown for Falmouth University and engagement rings for Comedian Dawn French.

In January 2016 Mirri moved the workshop team into her own showroom, on the old High Street in Falmouth, a fantastic street full of quirky boutiques and great coffee shops. There you can see an ever- changing display of one-off designs alongside her own distinctive ranges.

The jewellery that I design and make is a result of recording what I see while walking on the Cornish coast. The beauty in nature provides endless inspiration for me…”
